Silence & butterflies this week…
Due to Hurricane Helene, I must take a brief sabbatical. So, here are butterflies!
This week, there will be no chapter or reflection published on Singular Dream. Like many people who live in the path of Hurricane Helene, I’m presently without power, and even simple things like acquiring water to drink are a challenge at the moment. I’ll make every effort to get things underway again as soon as possible.
For the last month, I’ve lived as a farm hand. Living and working on a farm for the first time in my life has been greatly rewarding. I’ve begun to learn about horses. And I’ve learned a lot about butterflies, since this organic farm has prime habitat for them. So this week, in lieu of the usual posts, here are a few pictures I’ve taken here of the butterflies. The flowers they nectar on here are mainly red tithonia.
Whatever hard times you may be facing, I hope these colorful creatures bring you a moment of joy! They’ve brought me many. jl
